This role is offered on a maternity cover basis starting on 4 November 2024 to 4 February 2025 on a full-time basis with co-curricular involvement.

Opportunity for a SEND Practitioner (Support) to join our Learning and Development Department. One of a team of three SEND Practitioner positions providing academic support tailored to individual students’ SEND needs. The post holder is responsible for the delivery or support and interventions for SEND students including small group, one-to-one and in-class work.

The Learning Development Department is an innovative and forward-thinking department providing a holistic approach to support students with additional educational needs and neuro-complexities. The department strives to provide a range of intervention strategies, supporting students to navigate their learning needs whilst developing their metacognition, and ultimately academic and self-confidence. The department recognises the need to provide support for our students in a variety of ways, from delivering study skills via small group lessons to delivering talks, advice and guidance to parents.

The Learning Development Programme comprises of the Head of LDP/SENCO, Assistant SENCO, and a team of SEND Practitioners, each of whom leads on their own area of specialism. The LDP team pride themselves on their strong sense of teamwork collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders within the College and beyond. The LDP department has the responsibility for ensuring that all teachers at Prior Park College have the information and advice needed in order to meet the needs of students with additional needs, the majority of whom have Specific Learning Difficulties, dyslexia and neuro-complexities, within their own classrooms and subject areas. The Learning Development department contributes to curriculum development and offers both formal and informal training and workshops to both staff and parents.

The role is working term time plus two weeks, to be agreed (37 weeks per year) Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, hours to be agreed between 8am and 6pm.

Prior Park College, Bath is looking to appoint an early morning cleaner to join the busy and friendly Estates Team to support the school with cleaning of all public areas.

Starting work between 5am to 6am start, working 20.5 hours per week to include a Saturday morning worked on a rota basis, one week in four with a day off in the week (with a later Saturday start time to suit).

Working all year round with 25 days annual leave (this is not a term-time only position).

Permanent - Term Time - Part Time or Full Time

Opportunity for a proactive and motivated Minibus Driver to join our friendly team to provide a reliable minibus service for our pupils, safely transporting them to and from Prior Park College and The Paragon School and schools' events in the local area and to include airport transfers and working some weekends.

The successful candidate will have a full, clean driving licence and current D1 entitlement (passing driving test before 1997 or taken a D1 test after 1997), the ability to interact appropriately with young children, parents and colleagues and excellent time management skills. At least 2 years’ driving experience due to insurance requirements. A portable DBS would also be beneficial.

We offer a supportive working environment, with a free lunch each day the kitchen is operational. We also access to other benefits including free onsite parking, a contributory pension scheme and onsite gym.  Paying £12.15 per hour.

Flexibility offered for a part time or full time position:

Part Time - 20 hours per week to complete school runs each day with working hours between - Monday to Friday 6.30am to 8.30am, Monday to Thursday 6pm to 8pm, Fridays 5pm to 7pm.

Full Time - 36 hours per week, as above plus daytime sporting fixtures as required.

The role will commence just a soon as pre employment checks are complete. Or this role can start in January 2025.

Possible bus routes could include the vicinity of the Chew Valley area or to the West/South West of Bath.

Opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Officer to join our friendly Marketing Department to be based at  Prior Park College to support all  three  schools. Prior Park Schools are a family of Christian schools comprising Prior Park College (Bath), The Paragon Junior School (Bath) and Prior Park School Gibraltar.

The role will predominately work term time, plus additional dates, to be agreed, to support key occasions such as GCSE and A level result day and to include events at The Paragon School Bath plus remote support to our school in Gibraltar.
