Histories of the Unexpected

Thank you to Dr Sam Willis and Professor James Daybell for delivering their Histories of the Unexpected to some L3 and F3 students today. Sam and James discussed many items, including a letter of mutiny signed by the crew of a ship who signed in a circle so that no name was at the top. Learning about the history of the glove, hair, watch, perfume and signatures (to name a few) certainly offers a new way to think about the past.
