A Typical Week

Weekdays starts at 8:30am  when students gather for House Assembly, Tutor Time or Whole School Assembly (Friday). Lessons begin at 9:00am.

Prior Park College has a two week timetable, rotating between Week A or Week B, so subject lessons change between the different weeks. Lessons last 55 minutes and students will have two before morning break (10:55-11:20am). Break time is usually taken in House. 

Lessons continue until lunch at 1:15pm. Students may also take part in clubs or activities, such as rehearsals, during the lunch period.

Period 5 and 6 lessons take place between 2:30pm - 4:25pm, after which students may go to supervised Prep or another activity.

College buses depart at 6:00pm Monday to Thursday and at 5:00pm on Friday.

Saturday Active is an option for all pupils and takes place on Saturday mornings. Sports fixtures are normally scheduled for Saturday afternoons and are compulsory for all those selected.
