Prior Park College is a very busy place - from culture to fun there is something for everyone. The weekend remains busy with a varied and exciting weekend activity programme, available for both boarders and day pupils.
Saturday Morning & Saturday Active
An early breakfast for boarders is followed by study time in Houses. Saturday Active then offers a range of courses, day pupils are welcome to join the activities, but attendance is entirely optional. The programme changes twice a term. Examples of the courses we offer include: Leith Cookery, Archery, DIY, Sociology Masterclass, Street Dance, Study Skills, Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing, Tennis, Horse Riding, Swimming, Sailing, Judo, Italian, German, and many more. Saturday Afternoon and Evening
- Senior Sports fixtures.
- House activities with tutor on duty: In-house cooking, discos, bingo, race nights, etc.
- Sixth Form pupils are allowed to visit Bath for the evening.
Late breakfast followed by Sunday Mass in the Chapel.
Outside visits for leisure activities, such as ice-skating, ten pin bowling, cinema, museum visits, theme park outings, visits to a regional shopping centre, paint-balling, mountain-biking, visits to the South coast, carnivals and local festivals, fireworks, BBQs, supper events, mixed hockey and football tournaments, weekly Sunday cinema and much more.
