Each of the schools within the Camino Partnership is being given the opportunity to create a banner that represents their school. The banners will be designed and painted by students and each will portray the unique nature of their school. Once finished each banner will also be part of a bigger picture when the banners of the twelve participating schools are brought together. Every one of the schools, every pupil, every member of staff, belong to a shared journey, yet the path differs.
Andrew Jackson is the Artist in Residence for this project and over the last two days he has been at Prior Park, helping the students to come up with ideas of how their banner can depict a pathway showing their school and area. We think the result is stunning. Our thanks to our eleven 'one year' students who created the Prior Park banner, and our art department for helping with this event.
