Grand Summer Concert

A musical extravaganza! Featuring Senior Chapel Choir, Lower School Choir and the College Community Chorus supported by a professional orchestra in 'Every Purpose Under the Sun by Howard Goodall', plus the College Orchestra in 'Carnival of the Animals' by Camille Saint-Saens, and of course our esteemed musical The Grand Leavers' of 2024 in a variety of solos. Add to this drinks on the lawn with 'that' view, and you have the perfect summer's evening.

Set in 1930s England, a “challenging” foster child gets the chance to stay with a grieving widow in coastal Devon. Welcomed by some, but treated with suspicion by others, Fran navigates this new world encountering new friends, the odd ghost and even Royalty!

A Level Drama Group Performances

Thursday 11 January 2024
2 one act pieces performed by the A level Upper 6th Drama group. The first entitled "Swallow" examines the lives of three women trying to find ways to re-enter the world. The second, "Julie" is a modern adaptation of the classic Strindberg play "Miss Julie". Both pieces run for approximately 35 minutes and the estimated running time is 1.5 hours plus a 20 minute interval.

The "IT"
