Music has a magical power for everyone. It opens doors, ears and eyes to the musical art and craft of the world, past, present and future.

Students, parents, staff, even visitors understand very early in their acquaintance with the College that Music is simply part of the culture – a living, breathing part. Our own music making enriches our school community from Sunday Chapel Choirs to Band Night, from the hundreds of weekly individual lessons to orchestras and chamber music, from weekly Informal lunchtime concerts to school musicals and the excitement of the House Music Competition, musicians of every kind find opportunities to develop.

Musicians at Prior Park find an audience, fulfil dreams and ambitions and build upon confidence and personality through innumerable kinds of individual and collective musical activity. Academic musicians, classical musicians, jazz and rock players, world musicians, singers, songwriters of all ages and styles grow and make new discoveries under the guidance of a stable, experienced and versatile team of top-quality teachers.

For the 2015-16 academic year we have welcomed internationally renowned jazz musician, Mr Jason Rebello who works with our musicians one-on-one to hone their skills and develop into their musicality.
